It is with great sadness that the family of the late Etienne Pastiwet announce his passing on October 19, 2021 at the age of 65 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his parents, John Baptiste and Suzanne Pastiwet; children: Kevin Pastiwet, Samson Pastiwet, Penote Antuan, Melvin Michel, Uapukun Nuke; brothers; George Rich, Toon Rich, Eric Rich, Sam Rich, Matthias Rich; sister: Katie Pasteen, as well as many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, other relatives and close friends. He was predeceased by his sons; Melvin and Henry Pastiwet and brothers; Joseph Mark Gregoire and Edward Rich.
Following COVID-19 guidelines and regulations, visitation will take place at Fillatre Funeral Home, 45 Aspen Road, Happy Valley Goose Bay on Friday, October 22nd from 2-4 PM with another visitation taking place in Sheshatshiu at 7 PM. A funeral service is set to take place in Natuashish at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, flowers will be graciously accepted.
