GILBERT CLIFFORD SANSOME August 7th, 1925 - August 6th, 2009 Corner Brook, NL Passed away peacefully with his family by his side, Gilbert Clifford Sansome at the DVA Unit, J.I. O’Connell on Thursday, August 6th, 2009 in his 84th year. Left to celebrate the wonderful memories of his life are his loving wife Frances (Nee Peddle), sons: Garry (Judy) and Glen (Annelie); daughters: Brenda Stratton (Ralph) and Gilda Saunders (Randy); brother Don and sister Shirley King; 15 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. As well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark’s Avenue on Friday 7-9 PM and Saturday 2-4 & 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held on Sunday, August 9th at 3:30 PM from the First United Church, Park Street with Rev. Clayton Parsons officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy flowers graciously accepted or donations may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada or the Canadian Cancer Society. The family guest book may be signed or a memorial donations may be made through our website www.fillatre.ca.
