Bruce Pat and families, Bruce so sorry to hear of your moms passing. I was trying to think what to say but after reading Mountainview said I couldn,t say no more. They described Winnie to a T. To The Locke Family,
Our hearts are deeply saddened to hear of the passing of our lovely angel, Winnie. Winnie was a kind, gentle hearted soul with so much love to share. She was a “ mother hen” to every new resident that walked through our door at Mountain View. Whether it be walking her neighbour back to her room, or pouring a cup of tea for her friend at lunch, she was always there to lend a helping hand.
Winnie was a social butterfly and loved to participate in our recreation program. The last event she attended included a limo ride around the city, and what a ride it was with her! Winnie had a love for her children like no other, family was absolutely everything to her. On her last days with us although she was unwell, her smile shined bright through every up and down, and she was a blessing to care for. We are deeply blessed to have had Winnie and her family as a part of our home. You have brightened our days and touched our hearts forever. Winnie’s optimism through her illness is to be admired, and her spirit will continue to shine at Mountain View for years to come. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all during this difficult time.
May angels lead you in Winnie, fly high our angel.
