Eric John Clark

June 18, 1953 – November 7, 2021

Happy Valley – Goose Bay, NL.

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Eric John Clark announce his peaceful passing on Sunday, November 7, 2021, at the age of 68. John was surrounded by loved ones at the Long-Term Care facility in Happy Valley – Goose Bay where he had been a resident for the past 15 years.

During his lifetime, John had many loves. He loved hunting and fishing. He loved being up to his elbows fixing a truck or a snow mobile. He loved cruising around in his old blue Ford with his 8-track blaring and his dog Chico by his side. He loved airplanes and working at the airport. And of course, he loved his family, heart and soul, for all he was worth.

The love shown by John to others will continue to shine in those who carry on: his wife of 36 years, Pamela (nee Baxter); their four children: Justin, Sarah (Jon) Hamman, Jason, and Jordan; siblings: Mary Ann Harnett (Max), Hayward (Dorothy), Lily (Wallace), Lyall, and Tony (Vicky). John will be remembered through many stories by a large circle of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, extended family, and friends.

John was predeceased by his parents Absalom and Nora Clark (nee Groves), his sister Jean Clark and his brothers-in-law Harry Harnett and Harvey Colbourne.

The family would like to thank the medical, nursing and the other supporting staff at the Long-Term Care facility for the care given to John. Your kindness and care towards John was so very appreciated. Thank you to Reverend Blackwood for his pastoral care and unwavering support.

John's Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, November 14, 2021. Due to Covid regulations the service is by invitation only. Those wishing to attend should call 709-280-3116. All attendees must present their vaxpass to enter the church. The service will be live streamed for those who cannot attend in person
