Dorothy Sweetland (Trask)

January 28, 1945 – November 7, 2021

Gander, NL.

 

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Dorothy Sweetland (nee Trask) announce her passing in Long Term Care, Happy Valley – Goose Bay at the age of 76 years. Left to mourn with fond and loving memories are her daughters: Constance Bird-Russell, Michelle Hodder, and Glenda Sweetland; Grandchildren: James & Alexander Bird, Crystal-Lee Angiers, Blaine & Skyar Hodder, and Johnathon Anderson; brothers Maxwell, Albert, and Roy; sisters Maisie, Mary, and Gladys; as well as 5 great-grandchildren and a circle of other relatives and friends. Dorothy was predeceased by her loving husband, John Sweetland; parents Noah and Genevieve; and her brother, Leslie. As per her wishes, cremation has taken place. There will be no formal funeral service at this time.
