Arthur Joseph Bennett

March 12, 1970 - November 6, 2021

It is with great sadness that the family of Arthur Joseph Bennett of Stephenville Crossing, NL, announce his passing on November 6^th, 2021, at the Western Memorial Hospital in Corner Brook, NL at the age of 51 years.

Arthur is survived by his daughter, Kendra Bennett (Alex O’Rourke) and her two children, his grandbabies, Addison O’Rourke and Eliot O’Rourke and Kendra’s mother, Lisa Bennett.  He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his brothers; Ronald Benoit (Lorie Hinks), Arsene Benoit, Joey Benoit, Columbus Benoit (Arla), Patrick Bennett;  sisters: Michelle (Gary) Eddy,  Marie Young (Ed Humber), Theresa LeCoure, and Eunice Parsons, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

He was predeceased by his parents, Lucy and Narcis Bennett; sisters: Sadie Gale and Cecelia Harvey; brothers:  Henry Benoit, Arthur Bennett, Issac Benoit, and Aiden Bennett.

His daughter, Kendra, would like everyone to remember him for his outstanding work ethic, his sense of humor, bright smile and contagious laugh. Not a day went by that he didn’t do his best to provide for his family. Arthur was a strong, independent man with a heart of gold. He was so proud to be a poppy and we know he would have spoiled Addison and Elliot with all the love he could give.
