Obituary of Lorraine Phoebe Turpin

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Lorraine Phoebe Turpin (nee Tapp) announce her sudden passing on Thursday, November 18^th, 2021.

Leaving to mourn with loving memories are her children; Connie (Christopher) Hodder, Tina Turpin, Dennis Jr. Turpin (Lara), David Turpin (Sarah), Angel (Benjamin) White. Her beloved grandchildren; Craig, Cameron (Beth), Taylor (Nathan), Riley, Kyle, Drew, Elijah, Abigail, and Silas. They were her pride and joy. Also leaving to mourn her siblings Dave (Yvonne), Lou, Jimmy (Debbie), Helen, and Margaret.

Lorraine was predeceased by her husband Dennis Sr., parents Ernest and Lillian Tapp, parents in-law James and Lucy Turpin, Herbert Baker, brother John Tapp and sister Mary Tapp.

Lorraine had many friends, and she was loved by all that knew her, she was the sparkle of her children/grandchildren’s eyes. Our mom was the centre of our world and we loved her with all our hearts.

She will be sadly missed by her special friends Bert and Triffie Crewe, Sadie Lodge, Yvonne King, and Helen Tulk, whom she loved to chat and drink tea with.

Nanny was also predeceased by her two loveable fur babies Gemma- Lily and Gia-Dora. They were what kept her going and she loved every minute.

Visitation will be held at the family residence, 124 High Street, Deer Lake on Monday, November 22^nd 3-6 pm. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, November 23^rd from 2 pm at the Emmanual Pentecostal Church, Deer Lake with Pastor White officiating. To pre-register for the funeral service please call 635-3061. Due to Covid -19 government restrictions masks will be worn throughout the service. Interment to follow in the Pentecostal section of the Deer Lake Interdenominational Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy flowers graciously accepted.
