It is with great sadness that the family of the late Robert Eugene Hallett announce his passing on Thursday, November 18, 2021 at Western Memorial Regional Hospital at the age of 84 years. He leaves to mourn his children: John Hallett (Michelle), Paul Hallett (Karen), Tim Hallett (Michelle), Andrew Hallett (Ami), Cathy Hallett (Mike), Susan Hallett “Choo-Choo”, Sharon Hallett (Howard) and Faith Spatz (David); step-children: Isabel (Jerry) Mosher, Sandra (Kenneth) March, Bill Park (Betty), Beulah (Gary) Dingwell, Roger (Donna) Park, Tony Park and Shawn (Melinda) Park; 33 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren; sister and brothers: Helen (Keith) Murphy, George Ringer (Linda) and Malcolm Ringer; brother-in-law Moris Day; , sister-in-law Shirley Ringer; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his mother Sadie Hallett, father Raymond Ringer, son Douglas, granddaughter Ashley, sister Nina Day, brothers Bill and Raymond Ringer and loving partner of many years Edna Park. A special thank you to the staff at Mountview House in Meadows, Dr. Mark Smallwood, nurses and staff at Western Memorial Regional Hospital 3^rd floor. Visitation will be held on Monday, November 29 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. at Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark’s Avenue. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 30 at 2:00 p.m. from Fillatre’s Funeral Chapel, St. Mark’s Avenue with Captains Darren and Danette Woods officiating. Cremation will follow. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Diabetic Association or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
