April 24, 1943 – November 24, 2021

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Joyce Crant announce her passing at the Calder Health Centre, Burgeo on Wednesday, November 24^th, 2021 at the age of 78 years.  Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her children: Darlene (Harvey) Burgeo, Jimmy (Jen)  Outlook, SK, Daryl, Smith Fall, ON, and Robena (John) Harbour Breton; grandchildren: Julia (Chris), Daniel (Naji), Jamie (Tammy), Peter (Natasha) and Kimberly; great grandson Carter; sister Loretta (Hayward); brothers, Jack (Doris)  Sam (Lillian); sister-in-law Joyce and brother-in-law Bill (Clara), as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. 

Predeceased by her husband Jim, parents John and Nina Miles; brothers Frank and Allan and sister Betty. 

Mom was a kind, loving woman and her memoires will be cherished in our hearts forever. Rest peacefully “Momma Bear”, we will never forget you.

The family would like to send out a special thank you to the staff at the Calder Health Care Centre in Burgeo for their kindness and compassion given to our Mom during her last days as well to her caregivers Brenda and Sandra.

Visitation will take place from St. John the Evangelist Church on Friday from 9:30 AM  to 11:30 Am , followed by the funeral service at 2:00 p.m. Reverend Elsie Rose officiating. In compliance with Covid 19 Government Regulations, Vax Passport and Mask will be required to attend the visitation and funeral service. Interment will follow at the Burgeo Community Cemetery.
