It is with great sadness that the family of  the late Sidney Eric Simms announce his passing on Saturday, November 27, 2021 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital, Corner Brook at the age of 65 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Geraldine; children: Stephen (Yulanda) and Jonah (Aimee); grandchildren: Adrian, Cody, Bobby and Beth; brother Wesley Simms; sisters: Rose (Stan) McDonald, Shirley (Ralph) Keeping, Margaret (Graham) Kendall, Effie (Allan) Barter and Patricia Simms; special friend Roxanne; brothers-in-law: Danny (Andrea), Jeffrey (Jessica) and Malcolm (Kayla); sister-in-law Noreen (Howard); as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents John and Sarah Simms, brothers Kyrl, Hubert, Edward and John, sister Minnie and best friend George, parents-in-law Clarence and Loretta Fudge. Cremation has taken place. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 2 at 2:00 p.m. from St. Boniface Anglican Church in Ramea. Interment to follow at St. Boniface Anglican Cemetery.
