He will be sadly missed and fondly remembered as he leaves to mourn his wife, Debbie McWhirter-Rowe; daughters, Elizabeth Rowe (Tiuri), Jennifer Rowe (Terrence), Joanne Gillis (Daniel), and Charlene Evans (Marc); grand-children, Amy, Billy, and Violet; Joan Rowe, mother of Charlene and Joanne; siblings Diane Rowe (Sheila), Robert Rowe (Shirley), Sandra Hughes (Owen), Doris Rowe (Vicky), Kenneth Rowe (Janet); Siblings-in-law, Cathy McWhirter, Margie Batstone (Terry), Darren McWhirter (Janet), Rod McWhirter (Nellie), Allan McWhirter (Aggie), as well as many nieces, nephews, family, and friends. He is pre-deceased by his father, Allan Rowe; mother, Elizabeth Rowe; sisters, Kathleen Rowe, and Marguerite Green; brother, Allan Rowe Jr.

David was known for his love of music, devoting much of his time to playing bass guitar. He played for many years with the well-known band, the Humber Road Greasers, whose members will greatly miss him. David was also passionate about our province and spent many summers camping and exploring every nook and cranny of the island with his wife, daughters, and grandchildren. David was a member of the local business community and poured a lot of hard work and dedication into Rowe Brothers Flooring, leaving to mourn his co-workers and friends there. David cared deeply about his family - his compassionate nature and sense of humour will be missed greatly and remembered fondly by them.
