It is with great sadness that the family of the late Barbara Jean Penney announce her passing on Monday, November 29, 2021 at the age of 66 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her husband Kalvin; children: Andrew (Cheryl), Amanda (Colin), Michelle (Dave) and Matthew; grandchildren: Ava, Margo, Katy, Allison and Lauren; brother Robert (Norma); brother-in-law Keith; sisters-in-law: Elaine (Ted) and Mary; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents Chesley and Adeline Hicks, parents-in-law George and Ivy Penney, sister-in-law Elizabeth Pike; brothers-in-law Robert Pike and James Penney. Visitation will be held at Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark’s Avenue on Friday 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 4 at 2:00 p.m. from Fillatre’s Funeral Chapel, St. Mark’s Avenue with Rev. John van Vliet officiating. Vaccine Passports and masks required upon entry for the visitation and funeral service. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy flowers graciously accepted or donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
