PHYLLIS D.S. MORGAN McIVERS, NL August 17, 1943 … August 17, 2009 It is with great sadness that the family of the late Phyllis Morgan announce her sudden passing at her residence on Monday, August 17, 2009 at the age of 66 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her children: Craig (Greta), Kitchener, ON, Pansy (Spencer) Lawrence, Wabush, Lab, and John (Barbara), McIvers; five precious grandchildren: Danny, Robyn, Susy, Adrian and Carlee; sisters: Rosie Lovell and Veda White (George); brother: Kevin Morgan (Verna); sisters-in-law: Elizabeth Morgan and Margaret Morgan; brother-in-law: Hubert Lovell; all residing in McIvers; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband, Oliver Parsons; sister: Hilda Lovell; brothers: John, Stephen and Cyril Morgan; sister-in-law: Rowena Morgan; brother-in-law: Esau Lovell; parents: Gilbert and Josephine Morgan. Visitation will take place from Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Marks Avenue on Thursday, 7-9:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Friday, August 21st at 2:00 p.m. from the Anglican Church of the Epiphany, McIvers, Reverend Malcolm Palmer officiating. Followed by interment at the church cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to the charity of ones choice.
