George Kenneth Batstone

November 3, 1930 – December 7, 2021

Corner Brook, NL.

 

It is with great sadness that the family of the late George Batstone announce his passing on December 7, 2021 at Western Long-Term Care, Palliative Care Unit. Left to mourn with fond and loving memories are his wife, Margaret; children: Doreen Hann, Carolyn Robertson (Tony) Tryphena Dyck (Jim); grandchildren: Cathy Fisher, Tony Robertson, Jim Robertson, Brian Hann, Gary Dyck, Gregory Dyck, Kenny Batstone, Jason Batstone; and great-grandchildren: Jennifer, J.D., Chloe, Jesse, and Madison. He was predeceased by his mother, father, son Garry, three brothers and four sisters.

As per George’s wishes, cremation has taken place. There will be a burial service held at a later date.
