It is with great sadness that the family of the late "Lukie" Jonathon Karpik announce his passing on December 7th, 2021, at the Labrador Health Center in Happy Valley Goose Bay at the age of 35. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his mother Matilda Karpik (Lloyd Elson); aunt Stonia; brothers Sonny Winters, Solomon Suarak; and sister Margaret Jararuse Jr.; partner Verona Semigak; Dennis Flowers, and Amy Elson , as well as a large circle of family and friends. Jonathon was predeceased by his father Bobby Winters, grandmother Ulrika Karpik, grandfather Adam Karpik, grandmother Sabrina Winters, and grandfather Henry Winters. A service in Jonathan’s memory will be held at a later date.
