It is with very heavy hearts and great sadness that the family announce the passing of Douglas (Doug) Gordon Wheeler on Saturday, December 25th, 2021 at the Western Long Term Care Home in Corner Brook, NL at the age of 75. Doug leaves to mourn with his precious memories his Wife Patricia, Daughter Kim, Son Mark, Grandchildren: Michael, Bryan, Kaylee, Elissa and Brandon, Sister Audrey Charron, Maxine, Jocelyn and Brother Sherman, Great Grandchildren: Madison, Leyland, Riley, Logan. His greatest supporters were Kim and Patricia during his fight. A huge thank you to all the rest of the Friends and Family in the support network as well. Doug is predeceased by his Parents Max and Violet, Brothers: Utley, Brian, and son David (Dave). As per Doug's wishes he will be cremated and no service will be held to the public. Thank you for all the calls and well wishes. For a man whose smile brightened everyday and everyone's life he touched the world will be a little darker without him in it. Forever loved and always in our thoughts, mind and hearts
