Obituary of Hazel Tatchell

March 27th, 1969 - January 9th 2022

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Hazel Tatchell announce her passing on Sunday, January 9th, 2022 at Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook at the age of 52 years.  

She leaves to mourn her loving Husband Michael Tatchell and her favorite pet dog Max. Three children, Daughter: Santana (Keon), Sons: Alexander (Jessica), Mitch (Tara).  Grandchildren: Aria, Prue, Zoey and Shelby. Brothers:  Ivan (Mardy), Issac (Glenda), Sandy (Elva), Roy (Tina), Kerry (Shannon).  Sisters:  Beatrice (James), Vina (Steve), Jessie, Neila, Clara (Tex), Hilda ( Lorne), Doris (Bob).

Predeceased by: Parents:  Alexander and Mabel Newcombe.  Sisters:  Joyce and Mary. Brother-in-Law Calvin, Sisters-in-Law: Evelyn and Rebecca.  Parents-in-Law Madonna and Anthony Tatchell. 

One Viewing will take place on Wednesday, January 12th, 2022 at Saint Anne's Chapel in Castor River North, from11am -1pm.  Funeral Service to follow at 2pm at Saint Anne"s Chapel on Wednesday, January 12th, 2022.  Father Raj officiating. 

Family has requested cremation to take place after the service and interment will be at a later date.

Co vid restrictions are in place.  The church will be operating on 25% compacity.  Masks are to be worn at all times, social distancing, hand sanitizing and contact tracing will be required. Thank you for your understanding during this difficult time.
