It is with great sadness that the family of the late Nancy Paulene Samms announce her passing on Tuesday, February 1, 2022 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital at the age of 54 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her husband Bernard Samms; mother Elizabeth Knee (Frank Aucoin); sister Andrea (Steve) Peckford; brother Christopher Knee (Linda Tavares); sister-in-law Shirley Prosper (Peter McIntosh); as well as a large circle of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her father Montford Knee, brother Sheldon Knee, grandparents Andrew and Myrtle Burt, Betty and Alex Knee, uncles Tom Burt, Ross Knee and Alex Knee. Cremation will take place. Visitation will be held at Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark’s Avenue on Thursday from 2-4 p.m. to a maximum of 20 people at one time, Vaccine Passports, ID and face masks required for entry. A private funeral service will be held on Friday, February 4 at 11:00 a.m. Funeral service is by invitation only.  As expressions of sympathy, donations maybe made to the Janeway Children’s Hospital Foundation.
