Stan “Bing” Lawlor

April 24, 1954 – February 6, 2022

Curling, NL.

 

                It is with heavy hearts that the family of the late Stan “Bing” Lawlor announce his passing, surrounded by family and friends, after a brief battle with cancer on February 6, 2022 at the age of 67 years. Stan was born in Curling, NL to the late Thomas and Leah Lawlor. He was the beloved husband to Carmelettia (Carm) for 47 years.

                Stan was the loving father of Stan Lawlor (Tanya) and Leah Lawlor; the proud grandfather of Jessica Lawlor, Leslie Butt, Melanie Lawlor, and Melissa Lawlor; great-grandfather of Sophia; and the dear brother of Jean Feltham (Henry), Mike (Beulah), Joanne Brown and Louise Petten (Terry). He will be dearly missed by his best friends Stan and Pansy Vincent.

                Stan was predeceased by his parents, Thomas and Leah Lawlor; son Christopher Lawlor and siblings, Tom (Joan), John, Mary Desroaches (Charlie), Margaret and Max (Diane survived).

                Family and friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 218 Curling Street, on February 10th from 2-4p.m. and from 7-9 p.m. In keeping with COVID-19 guidelines, masks and VaxPasses will be mandatory for entry. There will be a burial service on Friday, February 11th at 2:00 p.m. at Mt. Patricia Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, or to the Western Memorial Regional Hospital Foundation, Palliative Care Unit.
