It is with deep sorrow and sadness of heart that the family of Gerald Alexander Noseworthy announce his peaceful passing at the Health Science Centre in St. John’s, NL, on February 13th, 2022 after a brief illness and complications from a rare blood disorder called Autoimmune Hemolytic Anemia at the age of 54 surrounded by his sister Dianne. He leaves to mourn, his sisters Maureen (Roy) Sansome of Unionville, ON, Lorraine (Carl) Pigulski of Etobicoke, ON and Dianne (Todd) Penney of Bonne Bay Pond, NL, nephews Raymond (fiancé Victoria) Sansome of Unionville , ON , Alex Pigulski and Edward (girlfriend Keshia) Pigulski of Etobicoke, ON, Uncles Donald Noseworthy of Meadows, NL, Gerald (Susan) Companion of Scarborough , ON, Jean Elliot Tipple of Corner Brook, NL, Mary Batt of Deer Lake, NL, and Mary Companion of Corner Brook, NL as well as many cousins, friends and coworkers. Gerald was predeceased by his parents Joan (nee Companion) and Alexander Noseworthy of Corner Brook, NL, grandparents John and Minnie Noseworthy, Vincent and Mary Companion and many dear aunts and uncles from both the Noseworthy and Companion families. Cremation has taken place entrusted to Fillatre's Funeral Home, St. Mark's Avenue, Corner Brook, NL and a funeral service, graveside burial and celebration of life will be held at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the ICU units at Western Memorial Regional Hospital, Corner Brook and at the Health Science Centre, St. John's, NL. The family would like to extend their most heartfelt gratitude to the many doctors and nurses who cared for Gerald during the 11 days he was in hospital.
