It is with great sadness that the family of the late Bessie Woodward announce her passing on Saturday, September 12th, 2009 at the Labrador Health Centre at the age of 86 years. She will be sadly missed by her children: Winnie (Aaron) Pittman, Hazel (Henry) Brown, Donald (Jean) Woodward, Betty Adey, Lillian (Whitfield) Elliott, Violet (Everett) Cull, Phyllis Woodward, Wallace Woodward, Joy (Paul) Atkinson, and Cyril (Jackie) Woodward, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by Gerald Adey; 24 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Friends may visit the Anglican Church in Boat Harbour on Monday, September 14th, from where the Funeral Service will take place. Funeral time to be announced later. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted.
