Obituary of Bridget Saunders
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Bridget (Gear) Saunders announce her passing on February 28th, 2022, at the long-term care facility in Happy Valley Goose Bay at the age of 91 years. She was predeceased by her life partner, Linton Golec. She leaves to mourn her son Bill (Joan); daughter Helen (Howard) Michelin; brother Wilson (Jane) Gear; brother-in-law Don Saunders; as well as a large circle of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends. As expressions of sympathy donations in her memory may be made to the Happy Valley Goose Bay United Church. Family and friends may visit at Fillatre’s Funeral Home on Tuesday, March 1st, 2022, from 6:00-8:00p.m. Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, March 2nd, 2022, at 11:00a.m. at the Happy Valley Goose Bay United Church with Reverend Wayne Blackwood officiating, with interment to follow at the United Cemetery.
