Obituary of Stephen Seymour House

It is with great sadness the family announce the passing of Stephen House, loving husband and father at Rufus Guinchard Health Centre at the age of 89.  

Stephen was raised by his grandparents Allan and Joanne House.  Stephen married the love of his life Cecilia Sheppard and together they raised a family of 6 children.  Stephen supported his family by spending many hours logging, fishing and guiding.  In more recent years, Stephen enjoyed sitting at his dining room table looking through his "spyglasses" watching the next generation of fishermen.

He leaves to mourn with many loving memories, children:  Carter (Beverley), Barry (Judy), Rex (Gertie) and Marlene (Howard) Galliott,  Son-in-law Philip Samson, Grandchildren: Christopher (Nicole),  Brian (Jenny), Cheryl (Jeremy) Nippard, Andre Samson, Joey (Lynette), Channon (April) and Zacharcy (Rebecca) Samson. Great grandchildren:  Alexander, Christyn, Johnathan, Carter, Arabella, Lily, Cassidy and Lucy.

Predeceased by: His wife Cecilia, children Daniel and Annah, grandson Baby Boy House, Parents Samuel House and Annah Payne and brother Charles.

Visitations are to take place at St. Peter's Anglican Church, River of Ponds with a total of 25 people at a time. Saturday, March 5th and Sunday, March 6th  1pm - 6pm.  Covid guidelines are in place, masks are to be worn, hand sanitizing, social distancing and contact tracing.

Funeral Service will be held on Monday @ 2pm St Peter's Anglican Church, River of Ponds.  Rev. Marie Smith officiating.  Interment to follow.  The church will be operating within the covid guidelines.
