Obituary of Leah Justina Ford

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Leah Justina (Terriak) Ford announce her passing on March 4, 2022 at Labrador Health Centre in Happy Valley Goose Bay, Labrador at the age of 84.  Leah was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and friend.  She was also a great storyteller and loved to make people laugh with her stories. 

Leah was predeceased by her husband Fred Ford, her parents Lucas and Elenora Terriak, siblings: Maria, Kristine, Klementine, Maria, Ambro, Johanna, Sabina, Ketura, Titus, Daniel, Amos, and David.

She leaves to mourn with loving memories her children:  Lucas (Alice), Tina, Sam (Janet), Daniel, Selma and Torsten; grandchildren: Crystal, Gabriel, Jo, Kiel, Misty, Gavin, Angelika, Lucas, Joni, Larissa, Julian, Paige, Blaze, Kendal, Samuel, Chuck, Jackie, Ben and Logan, Collin and 24 great-grandchildren.  Also left to mourn are a large circle of nephews, nieces, cousins, in-laws and friends.

A special thanks to Nurses and Doctors for everything they did for her at the Labrador Health Centre.  We felt nothing but caring and compassion from there during her 8 days in the hospital.

Leah will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her especially her children and grandchildren whom she loved greatly.
