MARY BEDELIA DELANEY ST. GEORGE’S, NL SEPTEMBER 8, 1914 … SEPTEMBER 18, 2009 It is with great sadness that the family of the Late Mary Bedelia Delaney (nee: Cormier) announce her passing on Friday, September 18, 2009 at the Bay St. George Long Term Care Centre in Stephenville Crossing at the age of 95 years. She leaves to mourn with many precious memories her husband Charles; daughters: Viola Delaney, Margaret (Melvin) Hapgood; grandchildren: Julia, Michael, Sandra, Paul, Todd, Melanie, Jonathan; eleven great-grandchildren; brothers: Gerald, Adolph (Marlene) as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents Narcisse and Catherine Cormier; brothers; infant Hubert, Lawrence, Hubert, Joseph, Jack; sisters: Annie, Sister Stephanie, Barbara, Madeline, Vera, and Margaret. Visitation will take place from St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, St. George’s on Saturday from 7-9 p.m., Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. from where the Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, September 21, 2009 at 2 p.m. with Father Gerard Patry officiating. Interment will take place following the Mass in the Roman Catholic Cemetery , Shallop Cove. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to Canadian Cancer Society.
