Gladys Pauline Grace Bailey
September 16, 1931 – March 11, 2022

Grace Bailey, 90, a very loved mother, grandmother, and sister; passed away peacefully on Friday the 11th of March, at Corner Brook Long Term Care. She was predeceased by her husband George Douglas Bailey. They shared 47 Years together.

Born in Deer Lake, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Bride Cross.

Grace was a member of the Anglican Church. She loved knitting, reading, playing cards, as well as cooking and baking for her family. She will be missed dearly.

Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her children Georgenia (Clayton) Bishop, Randy (Myra) Bailey, Dan (Joy) Bailey, Pauline Elms, Vicky Nichols (Jeff Stevenson), Lisa (Barry) Williams, and Rachel (Melvin) Bennett; grandchildren: Craig, Charlene, Sheena, Desmond, Carl, Camilla, Danny, Trina, Danielle, Chad, Ashley, Dion, Nikki, Tiffany, Brandon, Rhianna, and Aidan. Sisters: Jane, Dianne, Lillian, and brother Melvin. Also leaving to mourn are a large circle of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other family, and friends

Grace was predeceased by her sisters Margaret, Julia, Gertrude, Patricia, Brenda; brother Don; and her grandson Andrew.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the wonderful staff at the Long Term Care in Corner Brook on 2 and 3 South for their care and compassion.

A Funeral Service will be held at St. Michaels and All Angels Anglican Church, 21 Farm Road, Deer Lake on Thursday, March 17, 2022 at 2:30 pm. Interment to follow at the Deer Lake Interdenominational Cemetery.
