James Cyril “Jim” Power

Corner Brook, NL

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Jim Power announce his unexpected passing on Wednesday, March 16^th, 2022 at the age of 55 years.  Jim was born on May 23, 1966 in Torbay, NL. He was the co-owner of R&D Diversions Ltd., Whelan’s Gate and The Castaway Lounge.

He was predeceased by his parents Mary and Pat Power and two brothers, Mike and Donald (6 months of age).

Jim is survived by his spouse, Jenny Hall of Curling; sisters: Patsy (Dave Prior), Judy Power Levesque, Donna (Chris Henley), Bettyann Power (Rob Field), Debbie (Eddie Field); sisters-in-law: Bernice Tulk (Len) and Isabel Power; brothers and sisters-in-law: Art Hall (Patsy), Amelia Dicks (Wayne), Mary Piercey (Wade), Danny Hall (Patricia), Anna House (Danny), Joe Hall (Mary), Margaret Dalley, Bernie Hall, Cecilia Hall, Wally Hall (Crystal Parsley), Rita Hall (Mark German), Brenda Hall (Mike Brake), Cathy Burry (Oral), Susie Hall  (Pat Sabourin) and Bernadette Hall; as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.

Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 218 Curling Street on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Monday, March 21^st at 10:30 Am from Sacred Heart Parish with Fr. Jim Robertson officiating. Cremation to follow.
