It is with great sadness that the family of the late Bertha Mae MacDonald announce her passing at her family residence in Gambo on Sunday, January 16, 2005, in her 79th year. She leaves to mourn with fond and precious memories son Walter (Mona); daughter Myrtle Greeley (George); brother George Leamon (Evelyn); grandchildren: Paula MacDonald (Mike), Paul MacDonald (Tracey), Kevin Greeley (Geri), Darrin Greeley (Mildred), Wade Greeley; as well as 8 Great-grandchildren and a large circle of family and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Andrew MacDonald, July 17, 2001, brother Lewis Leamon, sister Martha Campbell, sister-in-law Gertrude Leamon and brother-in-law Colin Cambell. Visitation took place at St. George's Anglican Church in Burnt Islands, Wednesday, January 19th from where the Funeral Service was held on Thursday, January 20, 2005 at 2:00 pm. With Rev. H. Vallis officiating. Interment followed at the Hillside Haven Cemetery. The family guest book may be signed through our website www.fillatre.ca
