Curtis William Bungay

Burgeo, NL

June 9, 1933 – March 24, 2022

 

Passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 24, 2022 at the Calder Health Care Center in Burgeo, Curtis (Curt) Bungay in his 88th year. He joins in Heaven: his parents, Father John and Mother Emily (Dodge); brother Charlie; and sisters Ethel (Jim), Marion (Fred), and Myrtle (Ray).

Leaving to mourn his loving wife Eleanor (Anderson) of 64 years, two special nieces Kimberly and Joy, brother Harvey, sister Vida (Merril), brothers-in-law Victor (Millie), Charlie (Alma), Walter (Laura), sisters-in-law Ruby and Emily, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. 

Friends may visit St. John the Evangelist Anglican Church in Burgeo on Tuesday, March 29, 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m.  The funeral service will take place at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday March 30th with Rev. Elsie Rose officiating. The family are requesting that visitors wear a face covering. Interment to follow at the Burgeo Community Cemetery.
