Della Butler
July 9, 1965 – March 29, 2022
It is with sorrow and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Della Butler. She passed away on March 29th, 2022 at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital in St. John’s, NL at the age of 56 years. Predeceased by her parents Gertrude & Brendan and her brother Willie. Left to cherish memories are her family: Lisa (JT), Tom (Debbie), Peter, Brenda (Bob) and Cindy (Cal); partner Doug Campbell; special sister-in-law Janice; niece Crystal; great-niece Charlotte; best friends Josephine Rideout and Mona Payne; as well as a large circle of relatives and friends. Thank you to all the doctors and nurses who have helped Della over the years. As per Della’s request, cremation has taken place. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark’s Avenue on Wednesday, April 6 from the hours of 2-4 p.m. from where memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m. Rev. Tanya White officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory can be made to the Cancer Clinic.
