It is with great sadness that the family of the late Benedict Joseph Dobbin announce his passing on Monday, April 4, 2022 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook at the age of 81 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his children: Darlene Mulcahy (Jef), Lisa Burke (Tom), Cindy Paulino and Travis Dobbin; grandchildren: Liam Mulcahy, Nolan Mulcahy and Rory McQuaid; life partner Hazel Laver and her children: Corinne Lavers (Iggy Hayward) and Tyrone Lavers; grandchildren: Maggie Lavers and Tyler Lavers; great-grandchildren: Wilson and Faith Sceviour; sisters and brothers: Madeline Hynes (Henry), Margaret Dobbin (Wade), Danny Dobbin (Noreen), John Dobbin (Maud), Gerald Dobbin (Shirley) and Murray Dobbin (Linda); sisters-in-law: Susie Genneaux and Shirley Dobbin; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his wife Anna Dobbin, son Wally Dobbin, parents Jack and Mary Dobbin, brother and sisters Pat Dobbin, Edward Dobbin, Genny Hinks, Eliza Lavers, Calvin Dobbin, Stanley Dobbin, Brian Dobbin and Michael Dobbin. Cremation has taken place, funeral service will take place at a later date.
