It is with great sadness that the family of the late Melvin Bud Hurley announce his passing on April 14, 2022, at 10 a.m. at the Labrador Health Centre, Happy Valley-Goose Bay, at the age of 65 years, 29 days.

Left to mourn with fond and loving memories are his loving wife Rosie; children: Pamela (Donny), Doris, Donna, Natasha, Trevor (Charlotte), Jasmine, Jobe (Mary) and John Ross; grandchildren: Jobe, Petapen, Kyle, Gavin, Maddison, Cole, Jobe, Makaiya and Tracy Rose Clarissa; great-grandchildren Oaklynn and Mykaella; brothers: Calvin (and family), Ross (Loretta and family), Larry (Geraldine and family), Solomon (Beatrice and family), and Elwood (and family); sisters: Viola (Truman and family) and Helena (Willis and family).

Melvin was predeceased by his parents Herbert and Hettie Hurley; sister Pearl; brothers: Henry, Andrew, Stanley, Alex, and Dave; in-law Ann and son Calvin; and stepson Dean Flowers.

Friends and family may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 45 Aspen Drive, on April 15, 2022, from the hours of 2-4 p.m. Funeral and burial will be taking place in Hopedale, NL.
