November 30, 1950 – April 11, 2022
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Dina Winters announce her passing on April 11, 2022, at the Health Sciences Centre, St. John’s, at the age of 71. Left to mourn with fond and loving memories are her daughter Rosie; son Sonny (Monique); grandchildren: Julianna (Michael), Jeriann, Johanna, Joseph; sister Louisa Kojak; brother Joe Asatata; nieces and nephews: William, Amos, Ama, Violet, Joshua, Conrad, and Charlotte; as well as many other family members and friends.
Dina was predeceased by her parents Conrad and Rosalia Asatata; husband Amos Winters; sisters Clara Fox, Irene, and Ulrika Karpik.
There will be a visitation at Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 45 Aspen Drive on April 17, 2022 from the hours of 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at the Moravian Church, Happy Valley-Goose Bay on April 18, 2022 at 2:00 p.m.
