It is with the deepest sadness and regret that the family of the late Freeman Bolt announce his passing at Western Memorial Regional Hospital on Sunday, October 4th in his 82nd year. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife of 59 years, Lena (nee Brake), his devoted daughter Judy(Roger Wight), and the light of his life, precious granddaughter Emily. He is survived by his sister, Mollie Snow, Nova Scotia, his two brothers Clarence, Arnold’s Cove and Charlie, Burin, brother-in-law Chesley Brake (Sylvia), Meadows, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, John Henry and Ethel Bolt; father and mother-in-law Thomas and Isabella Brake; sisters: Maisie Gilbert, Jessie Noseworthy, and Elsie Brown; brothers: Frank and Clifton; brothers and sisters-in-law: Herbert Gilbert, Claude Snow, Beatrice Bolt, Alice Bolt, Bessie Bolt, Ethel and Arthur Blanchard,and Harvey and Inez Brake. The family will be receiving friends at Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark’s Ave. on Monday, 2-4 and 7-9 PM and at Holy Trinity Church, Meadows, on Tuesday, 2-4 and 7-9 PM, from where the funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 7th at 2:00PM. Reverend Malcolm Palmer officiating. Interment to follow at the church cemetery. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to Holy Trinity Church.
