It is with great sadness that the family of Elizabeth “Betty” Duffy announce her passing at Western Memorial Long Term Care, April 17, 2022 at the age of 75 years. She will be sadly missed by her 3 sons: Brian (Lisa) in Corner Brook, Roger (Myra) in Stephenville, Clyde in Fort McMurray, Alberta; 6 grandchildren: Brandon, Lauren, Caroline, Cameron, James, Araya, and four brothers: Clyde (Sandra) O’Quinn in Kippens, Gary (Agnes) AuCoin in Aguathuna, Ron O’Quinn in Ontario, Raymond (Cecilia) O’Quinn in St. John’s, and six sisters: Martha (Ray) Hoyt in Virginia, Theresa Grayson in Oklahoma, Marie (Bert) Alexander in British Columbia, Cora (Dave) Bedo in Kippens, Linda (Bill) Abbott in Labrador City, Genny O’Quinn (Gerry) in Stephenville; and a large circle of relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents, Leo and Grace O’Quinn, her husband, Brian Duffy, her Son, Robert “Bobby” Duffy and her siblings Francis, Martin, Marie, and Dianne O’Quinn. Friends may call at the Roman Catholic Church, Port au Port East on Wednesday, April 27 10:00 a.m. which will be immediately followed by a funeral service 11:00 a.m. and internment at the Port au Port East Roman Catholic Cemetery.
