Clifford Elijah Laing
May 2, 1927 – May 7, 2022
It is with great sadness that the family of the Late Clifford Laing announce his peaceful passing at his home on Saturday, May 7th, 2022 surrounded by his family, at the age of 95 years old.
As a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather he is left to mourn by his wife of 74 years, Gladys; his daughter Diane (Wade) Hoyles; grandchildren Robert Hoyles (Laura) and Matthew Hoyles; great grandchildren Ruby Ruth, Everett, Eleanor, and Billie.
Clifford is survived by his sisters Madilyn Goosney and Claudine Kaizer; brother Ludlow Laing and Bob Laing.
Precious Memories Last Forever
A visitation will be held for family and friends at Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 10 Clinic Drive, Deer Lake on Monday, May 9th from 7-9 pm and Tuesday, May 10th from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. A funeral service will take place at St. Michael and All Angels Anglican Church, 21 Farm Road, Deer Lake on Wednesday, May 11th at 2 pm. Livestreaming of the Funeral Service can be viewed on Fillatre Funeral Homes Ltd. Facebook page. Interment will follow at the Deer Lake Interdenominational Cemetery – Anglican Section. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or donations can be made to the Western Memorial Regional Hospital Foundation.
