It is with great sadness that the family of the late Douglas  Joseph Jesso announce his passing on Monday, May 9, 2022 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital, Corner Brook, NL at the age of 85.

 

He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Alfreda; children:  Marina Young (Dave), Ann Jesso (Larry), Ivan (Marie), Rhonda Maillet (Duane), Natalie Barlad (Norm), Terry (Tammy); Step-children:  Valda (Joey Boehm), Jason (Jennifer); grandchildren:  Gavin, Paul, Phillip, Leanna, Nathan, Patrick, Keisha, Tamara, Tiffany, Mitchell, Roxanne, Jerry, Niomi; step-grandchildren:  Mya, Sabastian, Jacob, Chloe; brothers:  Arson, Dan, Peter; sisters:  May, Dinah, Dorothy as well as many other relatives and friends.

 

He is pre-deceased by his parents John and Angelina Jesso.

 

To honor and respect Douglas’ wishes cremation has taken place at Humber Valley Crematorium, Pasadena, NL.  A graveside service and burial will take place on Wednesday, August 3, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. from the Roman Catholic Cemetery in Marche’s Point, NL.  As expressions of sympathy donations may be made to a charity of ones’ choice.

 

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Stephenville Crossing, NL.
