CAINES Lucy (nee Power) Port au Choix With deep sorrow the family of Lucy Caines announce her passing at the Health Science Centre in St. John's on Monday, January 31st, 2005 at the age of 59 years. Left to cope with this great loss is her loving and devoted husband Martin; daughter Michelle Pye, granddaughters (Mikayla and Mackenzie), Foxtrap, daughter Collett Caines (Jamie Rumboldt), grandson (Stacy Caines), son Marty Caines (Wanda Tatchell her sons Kaleb & Jeremy), Port au Choix, son Steven Caines (Shelley Gould), Alberta, son Aaron Caines (Lori O'Keefe), New Brunswick; mother Catherine Power, Long Harbour; brothers Jim (Marg), Chapel Arm, Bernard (Veronica), Mount Arlington Heights, Martin Jr. (Mary Ellen), Chapel Arm, Terry, Dunville, Jerry, Barry (Janet), Richard (Mary), Glenn (Kim), Long Harbour; sisters Rita Norman (Dermot), Shirley Power (Art), Long Haarbour, Sandra Smith (George), Norman's Cove, Joyce Picco (Neil), Goulds; mother and father-in-law Madeline and Martin Caines (Sr.), brother-in-law Michael Caines, sisters-in-law Genevieve Plowman (Nelson), Port au Choix, Julia Barbour (Max), Pasadena and a large circle of nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her father Martin Power, son-in-law Corporal J. Craig Pye and sister-in-law Laura Power. Visitation will take place on Wednesday from 7-9 p.m. and Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. at Fillatre's Funeral Home in Port au Choix. The funeral service will take place on Friday, February 4th at 2:00 p.m. at St. Theresa's Church in Port au Choix with Rev. Roger Toblete officiating. Interment at the Interfaith Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, flowers gratefully accepted or donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of one's choice.
