It is with great sadness that the family of the late Alma E. Warren (nee Francis) announce her passing on Sunday, May 15th, 2022 at the Calder Health Care Centre in Burgeo at the age of 96 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her children George (Colette), Chris (Richard), Mildred (Mike), Barb (Russ), and Lorraine (Doug). Also with fond memories Maisie (George), Clayton (Barb), brother Jack, sister Susie, her grandchildren, great grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter, as well as a large circle of family and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Joe Warren, parents John and Priscilla Francis, six brothers and five sisters.
Originally from LaPoile, Alma moved to Burgeo to raise her family where she created many memories at home and at her cabin in Grandy’s Brook.
Visitation will be held at St. John the Evangelist Church, Burgeo, on Wednesday, May 18, 2022 from the hours of 5-7 p.m. Funeral service will be held at St. John the Evangelist Church, Burgeo on Thursday, May 19, at 2:00 p.m. Interment to follow at the Community Cemetery, Burgeo.
