It is with great sadness that the family of the late Raymond Joseph LeCointre announce his passing on Monday, May 16, 2022 at his private residence in Mainland, NL at the age of 84 years. 

Raymond was a very hard working man who loved and supported his family, especially in difficult times.  He was a loving husband and father.

He leaves to mourn with loving memories his wife of 60 years, Elevina LeCointre; children:  Doris (Gere), Fabian, Murial (Arthur), Adam (Theresa); grandchildren:  Jasmine, Dillon, Tristan, Torie Raye; great-grandchildren:  Greyson and Corbin; brother:  Ernest as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. 

He was predeceased by his son: Calvin; parents:  Millie and Alphonsus LeCointre; his sisters:  Constance, Alice, Eva; brothers: Baptiste, Martin, Michael.

The funeral service will be held on Friday, May 20, 2022, 10:30 a.m. at the St. Ann’s Chapel in Mainland, NL. Interment to follow at the Mainland cemetery.

As expressions of sympathy donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Fillatre’s Funeral Home in Stephenville Crossing, NL.
