It is with great sadness that the family of the late Manie Murphy, fondly known as Charlie,  announce her passing on Sunday, May 22, 2022 at the age of 79. She leaves to mourn with loving memories her husband of 57 years, Dennis, son Rodney (Brenda) and daughter Diane (Lorne), grandchildren Ashley (Chris), Olivia and Trevor and great grandson, Liam.  Manie is survived by her sisters Gertrude and Melva, brothers Derek (Mary Ellen) and Clarence and a large circle of nieces, nephews, family and friends. Predeceased by her parents, Norman and Amelia Snooks, siblings Thomas Snooks, Noble Snooks, Robert Snooks (Carrie), Wallace Snooks (Charlotte), Lorena (George Day), Bernice (Sidney Young), sister-in law Peggy Snooks and brothers-in-law Vates Hann and Alex Mclean.  Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Fillatre’s Funeral Home.  In lieu of flowers, donations in Manie’s honour may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Canada for people living with Alzheimer's disease and dementia. Many thanks to the staff at the Protective Community Residences and Long Term Care Home of Western Memorial Regional Hospital for their care and support.
