It is with great sadness that the family of the late Clifford Henry Greene announce his passing on Wednesday, May 25, 2022 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook at the age of 67 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife of 37 years Beverly (nee Doody); children: Jonathan (Lauryn) and Kimberly (Danny); brothers and sisters: David, Marguerite (Ian), Herbert (Alvina), James (Joan), Leo, Clarence (Laura), Genevieve (Marty) and Brian (Judy); brothers and sisters-in-law: Mike (Kris), Theresa (Mike), John (Angelia) and Henry (Angela); poppy Cliff’s buddies Blake and Lucas; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many, many friends, especially his Corner Brook Minor Hockey family, where Clifford was an employee for 40 years. He was predeceased by his parents Leo and Ceceila Greene, parents-in-law John and Yvonne Doody. Thank you to the doctors, nurses and staff at the Health Science Centre 4NB, Western Memorial Regional Hospital ER, ICU and 3B. A special thank you to Dr. Mike Hogan, Dr. Robert Young, Dr. Lynelle Mottay, Dr. Kate Lafferty, Dr. Scott MacKenzie, nurses Amy, Stephanie, Tina and Shelby and all others who were involved in Clifford's care. Cremation has taken place. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark’s Avenue on Sunday from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, May 30 at 10:00 a.m. from the Cathedral of the Most Holy Redeemer, Mount Bernard Avenue with Bishop Bart van Roijen officiating. The funeral service will be live streamed through Fillatre Funeral Homes Ltd. Facebook page. Interment to take place at a later date.
