We the family of the late Roland Harold White would like to thank all those that came to visit, called or bought food during our time of loss.we would also like to thank Fillatres for their professionalism, the legionaries for their duty of pallbearers and honour guard and Rev. Roland Harold White
June 9, 1938 – May 26, 2022

It is with great sadness that the family of the Late Roland Harold White of Trout River, NL announce his peaceful passing at the Bonne Bay Health Centre on Thursday, May 26, 2022, at the age of 83 years.

Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories is his partner of 25 years, Melissa; his sons Ernie (Rhonda) White, and Rolly White; daughter Kathleen White; grandchildren Natasha Heaney, Tiffany Heaney, and Jesse Heaney; and one great grandchild. Also leaving to mourn are his sisters Evelyn Edwards of Brooks, Alberta, Lillian Stearsman of California, USA, and Goldie Fleming of Red Deer, Alberta; brother-in-law Ralph (Kim) Crocker; sisters-in-law Theresa (Wayne) Noseworthy, Shirley (Myron) Sheppard, Vida (Bruce) Brake, and Linda White; a large circle of nieces, nephews, family, and a special nephew Randy (Muriel) Crocker.

Roland was predeceased by his parents Ernest and Eva White; sisters Bridie, and Rita; and brother Jacob.

Special Thanks to Dr. K. Hughes and staff at the Bonne Bay Health Centre and his homecare worker Mabel White.

There will be a visitation for family and friends at St. Simon & St. Jude Anglican Church, Trout River on Saturday, May 28^th, 2022, from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be held on Sunday, May 29^th, 2022, at 2:30 pm with Rev. Canon Jeffrey Petten officiating. Interment will follow at the Anglican Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations in Rolands’s memory can be made to St. Simon & St. Jude Memorial Fund or a charity of one’s choice.
