Robert James Wilson Feaver
March 1, 1933 – May 27, 2022
Robert (Bob) Feaver was an avid outdoorsman, ‘fixer’ and ‘builder’ of things, cribbage master, part time story-teller, and friend to many. He passed away peacefully on Friday May 27, 2022 at the age of 89 years old. As we reminisce about the countless stories and adventures he had through his life, we all have our favorite one, often recounted using our ‘Robert’ voice. He loved his card games and was a particularly strong cribbage player. After many years of competition, some of his fellow competitors can count their ‘wins’ on one hand. He was a determined soul and there was no turning back when he set his mind on something. He used this energy and his skills, in retirement, to provide support to his church and community. As we say goodbye, we celebrate a ‘life well lived’ and will always remember him with a smile on our faces and love in our hearts.
Robert is survived by his wife Joyce (nee Stevenson), daughter June (Fred), sons Dougald, Michael (Nicole), and David (Melissa), brothers Ted, Bill (Sadie), and Doug (Karen), sisters June, Jean, Beverley (Al), and Jackie (Fred), mother-in-law Enid Stevenson, brothers-in-law George (Sharon) and Bruce (Gale), sister-in-law Anne, grandchildren Ryan (Amber), Blair, Chris (Melissa), Silas, Alex, Lauren, Simon and Callum, great-grandchildren Marissa, Abigail, Landon, Brady and Layla, and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Predeceased by first wife Cassie (nee Humber), parents William & Jean (nee Cook), brothers-in-law Jim, Cyril, sisters Phyllis and Rita, sister-in-law Maxine, father-in-law David Stevenson, brothers-in-law Roger Stevenson, Bob Wells and Robert, daughter-in-law Naida Warr-Feaver and niece Melissa Brake, sister-in-law Audrey (Clifford),
