Obituary of Alice Marie Flynn (CARD OF THANKS)

We the family of the late Alice Marie Flynn wish to thank all who offered food, support, condolences and messages during our recent loss. We were surrounded by many friends and family. Our thanks to Father Jim Robertson, readers and Scared Heart folk Choir for the beautiful funeral mass. Thank you to staff of Western Long Term Care, Palliative Care Unit, Western Memorials Regional Hospital and Dr. Morris for their care.

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Alice Flynn announce her passing at Western Long Term Care Palliative Care Unit surrounded by her children on Tuesday, June 21, 2022, at the age of 84 years.

Alice was a loving, caring mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She will be loved and missed by her children: Roy (Nori), Ray (Zelda) and Diane; her brother Jack Barriault; her grandchildren: Ralene, Cherise, Jennifer, Andrew, and Justin; her many great-grandchildren and her special friends: Shelley, Sonya and Denise, as well as her homecare worker Judy Sansom.

She was predeceased by her parents Ray and Rita Barriault, her husband Jack Flynn, son-in-law Merle Hynes, and sister-in-law Joan Barriault.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, June 24 at 10:30 a.m. from Sacred Heart Parish, Curling Street, Father Jim Robertson officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery.

As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Western Long Term Care, Palliative Care Unit.
