It is with great sadness that the family of the late James Walter Brennan, 74 announce his passing at the Bay St George Long Term Care Center in Stephenville Crossing on July 2, 2022. James was born on July 20, 1947 to Eva and Patrick Brennan in Stephenville Crossing. He worked within the family business, JBL Amusements for many years. He later ran Midtown Variety in St. George’s until his retirement.
He is survived by his wife Maureen of 53 years, his daughter Jana (Greg), his sons Jason and James Jr. and his daughter Jennifer (predeceased). Grandchildren Lukas, Lennon, Jude, Hannah, and James. His siblings Patrick (Winnifred), Maureen (Wayne), Barbara, Paul (Natalie), Janice, Marie (Brian), Marcel (Sheryl), Brother-in-laws Edmond, Eddie and Harold (Dina).
Respecting James’ wishes, cremation has taken place.
Visitation, Wednesday, July 6, 2022, 7 – 9 p.m. at Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Stephenville Crossing, NL.
