Obituary of Mary Margret Ryan

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mary Margaret Ryan on July 07, 2022 at Long-term care Labrador Grenfell Health Center, in Happy Valley Goose-Bay, Labrador.

Mary loved many things, especially cooking large meals for her family and welcomed everyone into her home; she enjoyed getting outside, picking berries, hunting and logging in her younger years.  Mary was the mother of nine children. Despite her large family, Mary always made time for everyone. She always provided support and love for her family and many others that needed it.

Mary was surrounded by her loved ones at the time of her passing.  She was left to mourn, with fond and loving memories, her daughters: Bridget Macias (Rick Macias), Theresa Barry (Bryan Barry), Ruth Ryan, Sons: Michael Ryan (Christel Kennedy), Gerard Ryan, Alfred Ryan, Kenneth Ryan, Raymond Ryan, Garland Ryan (Terri Lynn Saunders).

Grandchildren: Sasha Macias, Kristen Ryan, Kyle Ryan, Emma Morris, Siobhán Kennedy-Ryan, Jeffery Kennedy-Ryan, Samantha Jean Poitrais, Natasha Michelin, Megan Michelin, Steven Michelin, Patrick Ryan, Jessica Jackson, Cameron Ryan, Jayden Ryan, Carson Ryan, as well as a large circle of Great-grandchildren, family and friends.

Mary was predeceased by her parents Patrick and Bride Hefferman, brother Michael Hefferman, Husbands, Valentine Ryan and Sherlock Patey, Grand-children Matthew Thomas Kennedy-Ryan, Angelica Macias, her Great-grandson Diondrey Macias and baby Jackson.

Family and friends may visit Fillatre’s funeral home on Sunday July 10^th, 2022 from 2:00-4:00pm and 7:00-9:00pm. Funeral service will take place on Monday July 11^th, 2022 at Our Lady Queen of Peace Roman Catholic Church, in Happy Valley Goose-Bay, Labrador at 1:00pm with Father Boniface officiating. Interment to follow at the Catholic Cemetery.

We would like to thank all the Nurses and Staff in Long-term care for all their help with our mother during her stay. In lieu of flowers, you may donate to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Diabetes Association in memory of Mary.
