It is with profound sadness and the heaviest hearts that we announce the passing of our father John Francis Roberts on July 12, 2022 at the age of 80. He leaves to mourn his children: Diane (Wayne), Gennie, Lori (Dennis) with whom he resided, Jodyene, John and Benjamin; his grandchildren: Matthew (Stephanie), Denise (Kyle), Dion and Josh; great-grandchildren: Grayson, Emma and Claire; brothers Ronald, Raymond, Fred and Robert; and his sister Suzanne. 

John was predeceased by his loving wife Grettol Grace Roberts; his sons John and David Colson; siblings Ralph, Carol and Laura; as well as his parents Bridget and Frank.

Visitation for family and friends will take place at Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 218 Curling Street, on Wednesday, July 13 from 2-4p.m. and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will take place at the Cathedral of the Most Holy Redeemer, 15 Mount Bernard Avenue on Friday, July 15 at 2:00 p.m. with Father Terry officiating. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to Diabetes Canada or COPD foundation. A special thank you goes out to Dr. Birender Wadhwa.
