Obituary of Helen Jane Howe

Helen Jane Howe
January 1, 1945 – July 13, 2022

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Helen Jane Howe (nee Brake) announce her passing on July 13, 2022, at the Bonne Bay Health Centre in Norris Point at the age of 77 years.
She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her children Linda Howe (Melvin Burden), Brett Howe (Linda Brandridge), Trent Howe (Alicia Publicover), Tammy (Harry) Munden, and Tina (Jeff) Smith; grandchildren Tonya, Katrina, Sarah, Kevin Jr, Marley, Chelsie, Mackenzie, Megan, Christopher, John, and numerous great grandchildren; brothers Edward Brake, Elwood (Tina) Brake, Jan (Rosellen) Brake; sisters-in-law Marie Howe and Elizabeth Howe; brothers-in-law Edwin Howe (Gertrude), Stanley Howe (Josephine); as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. Helen was predeceased by her husband Roy; sons John and Roy Jr; parents Cecil and Leah Brake; sister Gertrude White; brother Zebedee Brake; nephew Edward Brake; parents-in-law Thomas and Sarah Howe; brothers-in-law Frank Howe (Jean), Cecil Howe (Betty), Thomas Howe (Anne), and Harold Howe.

As per Helen’s wishes cremation has taken place. Interment will take place at Mt. Patricia Cemetery (Roman Catholic Section), 42 Northshore Hwy, Corner Brook on July 21, 2022, at 2 pm.
