Obituary of Earl David Pike

Please share a memory of Earl to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

It is with such great sadness that we announce the passing of Earl David Pike. A devoted husband to Victoria (Robertson), and beloved father to his three daughters, Rebecca (Steve, Kaelan and Adria,) Sarah (Craig, William, and Charley,) and Amy (Gabriel and Evie,) Earl will be missed by a large circle of family and friends. With his involvement in sports and as an educator, Earl touched the lives of many, and was humble about his accomplishments. Quick witted, kind, and always playing the role of an educator, Earl loved to spend his time outdoors gardening, hunting, fishing, and berry picking, and loved nothing more than to share his knowledge with those around him. The family wishes to extend heartfelt thanks to all of those that have reached out with kind words in this most difficult time, and especially want to thank Earls two brothers Gus and Monty for the tremendous amount of time and energy they have expended in these last few months, your devotion to your bother did not go unnoticed. In typical Earl fashion, and not wanting a fuss, there will be no funeral or wake services. A private ceremony for family will take place in Earls most treasured place, The Gaff Topsails. In lieu of flowers or donations, the family simply asks, the next time you catch a fish, plant a seed, or pick a berry, do so with a smile for Earl, and enjoy.
